PROJECT 2: NATURAL & MAN-MADE STRUCTURES
Important Dates | |
Project Issued | SEPTEMBER 13, 2013 |
Project Submission (P2a & P2b) | SEPTEMBER 23, 2013 (09.00am) |
The second project was to produce a drawing of a natural structure and man-made structure that could be found in our beloved university. And so, I started my mini ‘adventure’ in USM by foot. It was wonderful and very relaxing as well, giving me a reason to take my mind off all the lectures just to for once observe and appreciate all the beautiful landscapes and structures around me.
Some
photos taken along my little journey…
And
next were the topic selection. It was a pain to choose from all the photos I’d
taken, since their structures are all very unique and noticeable. Alas, I
chosen a papaya tree found somewhere near to the Hamzah Sendut Library. Yes, we
actually have papaya treeS in our university premise, kudos for that. I’d
selected this as my topic as papaya leaves own a really very dynamic structure,
and I believe that this would be a topic less selected by my course mates
compared to other structures.
And
this is my drawing
Natural structure |
For
man-made structure, I’d selected the car park of our Pusat Sejahtera. This
photo was taken from an earthworm’s view. And if you happen to pass by the site
that day, you would notice a girl with a big bag and covered with sweats,
squatting down on the middle of the road taking a photo with the little camera
in her hands.
What
I produced,
I
added in human figures as it was one of the requirements
What
I’d learnt through this project?
1.
Open your eyes and start to embrace the little
things around us, the beauty of our nature will amaze you.
2.
I need more practice for water color D:
And
